About Us

Community First Responders (CFRs) are community based volunteers specially trained to provide basic emergency care to those in pain or distress, whilst awaiting the arrival of fully qualified medical assistance.


Our Mission Statement

To provide a quality Community First Responder Scheme in support of East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust, covering communities within a four mile radius of Market Bosworth.


Our Aims and Objectives

  • To promote the development of a volunteer Community First Responder Scheme, in partnership with the Ambulance Service, as support to the local community within a 4 mile radius of Market Bosworth.

  • To promote technical education in CPR and Extended Life Support skills.

  • To recruit new members to enhance the service offered to the community.

  • In agreement with the Ambulance Service, to support the setting up of other volunteer Community First Responder Schemes to enhance and extend the service area covered, thereby supporting the wider community.
